Inside me
You do not need the whole map: the career, the move, the calling. Trust in the Lord with all your heart means: you may choose the next right step without seeing the finish. Not everything that happens is good. But nothing is outside his possibility of carrying it into something good. Strength often comes in the waiting, not in the panic.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Your understanding is a gift, not a god. You may think — but you do not need the whole map yourself. To count on the Lord is to take the next step on the way together with him, not to switch your brain off.

Before a choice: pray first, ask someone wise you trust, take the next right step without the whole map.
But those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

Hoping in the Lord is not doing nothing. It is not giving up while you rest, pray, and let him refill what work and worry emptied. Strength often comes there — not in more pressure.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
What it means
Not everything that happens is good. But for those who love God, everything can be woven into something good. It is hope, not pretending misery is fine.
How you can live it
When something goes wrong: you do not have to explain it today. Pray ‘carry this into something good’ and take the next right step.
A prayer
Lord, I do not see the whole path. Lead me in the next step, and carry my worry. Amen.
