Faith in everyday life
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. You may pause and enjoy — without it first having to feel spiritual. A walk, the light in the kitchen, a body that still carries you. What is made is already his, and you may enjoy it.

How you can live it
Go outside or look out. One thing that is beautiful or just ordinary — thank him that he called it good. You may enjoy it.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
What it means
Allt har han gjort skönt i sin tid. Även evigheten har han lagt i människornas hjärtan. Längtan efter mer är inte fel.

I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
What it means
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. That is thanksgiving to God, not a compliment from people.
How you can live it
When comparison hits: thank God for one thing about how you are made — without polishing it.
